Daniel McCollum of Habersham County, Georgia

I am researching Daniel McCollum of Habersham County, Georgia. He married a woman named Olive. Their daughter Jane married Daniel Wilburn Jones. Other children include Sarah, Lucinda D., Marietta, and Candis R. Sarah married John Taylor; Lucinda married Solomon White, Candis married Richard Ratliff. They all wound up in Texas, except for Jane, who lived in Tishomingo County, Mississippi, and in Colbert County, Alabama.  Daniel McCollum was from Pendleton District, South Carolina. He evidently folowed the discovery of gold: in Habersham County, Georgia, and in Mariposa County, California.  He was related to, maybe a first cousin of, Joab McCollum of Habersham county.
